The calendar is a unique printed product that serves both a practical and a decorative function; for this reason, it will never go out of style—but it changes and evolves, and we at BrownTrout want to lead this evolution through innovative designs and concepts.

Over the past decade, we have been lucky enough to forge relationships with many of the biggest brands in licensing. These relationships are represented here in the many calendars we do on musical artists and movie stars, fine and decorative arts, automobiles, and other commercial brands. Wherever we find passion, we search for a means to express it and connect with those who share it. In recent years, BrownTrout Canada has merged with Wyman Publishing, and established partnerships with many of the world’s best calendar publishers, whose calendars are also represented in our catalogues.

We strive to offer the best calendars available to our retailers and to be the best partners we can to our fellow publishers. Our extensive product line of almost 1000 calendars, experienced sales team, leading edge distribution capabilities, the ability to anticipate and respond effectively to changes in the market  and an offering of thoughtful merchandising solutions,  allows us to sell the titles and create programs we truly think are best for our retailers. BrownTrout's keen eye for contemporary design and trends makes us the preferred supplier in this product category, with over 13 million calendars produced annually for a worldwide market. 

BrownTrout Publishers Inc. is an independent publishing company founded in 1986 by Marc Brown, Wendover Brown, and Mike Brown, and has since grown to become the worldwide market leader in calendar publishing. Presently, over one hundred people work at the head office in El Segundo, California, as well as the main BT distribution centre and international affiliate offices. BrownTrout Canada, established in 1999, is managed by our cofounder and Managing Director, Bob Johnson. Its main office is in Guelph, Ontario, with a design department in Carleton Place, Ontario.
